e-Learning Methodology:

The e-Learning methodology adopted by IndusIT Solutions is based on the industry standard and proven ADDIE model – Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation.


The e-Learning methodology encompasses the complete phases of courseware development starting with the instructional analysis. This activity is used to ensure that the instruction is complete and aimed at things, which actually contributes to performing the tasks set for learners. As part of the instructional analysis, the courseware needs are evaluated in addition to evaluating the learners’ profile. It also includes analyzing the subject and proposed delivery system of the course for the learners.


During the design phase, the designers plan a strategy for developing the instruction, based on the outcomes of instructional analysis. This includes sequencing the instruction by preparing a detailed curriculum structure, with clearly defined objectives and instructional and assessment methodologies. It also involves designing detailed scripts and storyboards to facilitate the media development and content integration. During this phase, the content is thoroughly checked for technical accuracy.


In the development phase, the content development team develops instructional media based on the outcomes of the design phase, i.e., the scripts and storyboards. It develops the functional elements required to integrate the courseware and integrates the course. A review of the developed media elements is done at every stage to ensure that the instructional content meets the course requirements set forth.


The implementation phase consists the testing of the courseware with the target learners. Once successful, the courseware is put in full production. The learners and instructors are trained on using the courseware. This phase emphasizes the mastery of the course and transfer of knowledge from the instructional setting to the job performed by the target learners.


Learner evaluation is done throughout the course using formative and summative evaluations. Based on the instructional analysis, assessment methodologies are designed in the design phase. The formative evaluation enhances the learner retaining capacity and understanding of the subject that is being dealt with. The summative evaluation assesses the performance of the learner after implementing the instruction, to evaluate the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the instruction.
